Use AI Dialogue when the script belongs to more than one speaker. Add the lines in conversation order and assign a voice to each turn. This makes it possible to voice a host and guest exchange, a training scenario, or a conversation between fictional characters.
Separate the script by spoken turn, with each line containing the words for one speaker. Assign the same voice whenever that speaker returns. Keep speaker labels and production notes out of the spoken text, and use the dialogue editor’s delivery tags for changes in tone.
Single narrator or a conversation?
Use Text to Speech when one voice delivers the script. Use AI Dialogue when different speakers need their own lines and vocal identities.
Direct individual lines
Add a delivery tag to the line whose tone should change, such as a whispered reply or an excited reaction. Listen to that line with the turns before and after it to check whether the change fits the conversation.

Describe the vocal qualities you want and add the text to read. This suits an original narrator or character when you have an idea for the sound but no reference recording.

Improve Text to Speech Pronunciation and Pacing
A useful text to speech script reads well aloud. Treat punctuation, names, and sentence length as part of the performance.
Write numbers as they should sound
Write a date with the month name when its numeric form could be read in different ways. Expand an abbreviation if you want the full phrase spoken, and spell individual letters separately when they should be read one by one.
Give each thought room
Use punctuation to separate phrases and break long sentences into shorter ones. Natural phrasing is a stronger starting point than trying to force every pause with extra symbols.
Test the voice on the difficult line
